Our first goats were purchased for clearing invasive species that had overwhelmed the property. Blackberries and Scotchbroom were the main culprits, and the goats went to work, clearing them out with impunity! Soon, native species returned, the wetland restored, wildlife thrived, and plants we didn’t even know existed emerged on the property, including multiple fruit trees. We were amazed at the process and called it “goatscaping”.
Neighbors loved the transformation and soon we were getting hit up with inquiries to rent the herd for similar work. Finally, we couldn’t ignore the opportunity and now we happily offer our goatscaping services to local communities and private homeowners.
